A few cosmetic touches before selling your home can help you get more offers and a higher price. 

Big ticket items like a roof should only be considered if it is an obvious eyesore.  A fresh kitchen is nice but it’s very expensive, often costing more than it will benefit the sale.

Another factor, right now is prices are great and the market is hot but that could change in the blink of an eye.  If I were selling my home now, I would want to sell it as quickly as possible and not risk the market changing while it is for sale. 

In conclusion, it’s likely safer to keep repairs to a minimum and keep them to projects that can be completed quickly.  My personal favorite is professional staging followed by painting and landscaping.  Although it’s all show, this consistently proves to net the highest return in a sale price versus the cost.  Give us a call.
