I had the pleasure of engaging Alex Schauffert, Broker/Realtor® of New Standard Realty, in Benicia, California, to sell the rental home that I had owned for many years in Benicia, in March of 2010. I would give him my highest possible recommendation to anyone!
My rental home was on the market for only about 2-3 weeks, and was, in my opinion, after my viewing many competing homes, priced quite accurately by Alex. But, after the exceptional work that Alex did in preparing and showing my home, it sold for $24,000 more than my asking price!
Alex included several extra services for free as part of his regular commission, for which I understand most realtors/brokers, charge extra. These included yard and home maintenance while listed, etc., but most significantly, included the staging of the entire home, which was done in a very professional and magnificent manner.
After having been a rental for many years, this home needed cleaning, some repairs, some upgrades, landscaping improvements, and a significant amount of painting, etc. Alex completely handled all of these needed items, was intricately involved himself personally with all of them, and hired several professionals known well by him, to do the more major work.
